Peter Chung (he/him)
Makgeolli Master
Peter Chung is Ekaloka’s fermentor of all things Korean. He brews Ekaloka’s makgeolli line - a traditional rice wine; sikhye - a non-alcoholic, enzymatic digestif; and teaches kimchi workshops. Peter has experience with dozens of different ferments and kimchis and is excited to bring locally-brewed makgeolli to the midwest.

Silas Chen is a designer and writer living in Chicago. He's a graduate of the Brown-RISD Dual Degree program and an MFA candidate at Northwestern University.

Stephanie Wong's main passions are nonfiction writing and fiber arts. A graduate of Brown University's PhD program in History, she is always seeking out new hobbies to fixate on and/or snacks that don't hurt her tummy.
