From your smart phone to the sand on the beach to the glass bottles we fill, Silicon is everywhere. Electric-grade Silicon is 99.999999999 % (11N) pure, the cleanest of materials that humans can make. As chemists, we often used Silicon as background samples, or standards.
To capture this in a brew, we here at Ekaloka used all the combined knowledge of our doctorates in chemistry to bring you the cleanest (we mean clean), purest, most sessionable American lager you'll ever have -- a standard to compare all others by.
- Featuring only 2-row malted barley, a malt style heavily present in most American ales and lagers
- Crystal hops, which are statistically 0.997 correlated to the median profile of flavors present in all hops, across varietals.
- Diacetyl knock out lager yeast, developed right here in Chicago by Omega Yeast, that has been genetically spliced (using recent Nobel Prize-winning CRISPR technology!!) to ensure zero impurities and off-flavors from diacetyls.
